Hi Blog, fancy seeing you here. Got busy recently (and/or terribly lazy with my clothes)but today I woke up and thought that my blog could use a lift from a post. Hence, here it is! Not sure what I'll be up to today. Probably some mischief.

SCHOLARLY

This afternoon I had a scholarship luncheon that, quite frankly, was very pointless of me to go to. But I went anyway and saw my former boss, who I'm pretty sure gave me the evil eye at one point. The rest of the day I will dedicate to cleaning and reading Lord of the Rings, like a nerd (boss).

ELVISH

Photography with best friends is always great (shout out to Megan for taking my pictures!) Felt like today was a good day to photoshoot, and it sure was; the sky was overcast but it made for good effects. I feel like this is reminiscent of Lord of the Rings, it's so ethereal like the woods of Galadriel. Okay I'll stop nerding. Normal outfit posts coming soon :)

CHARMING

Please don't chastise me, I know I've been in a blogging rut lately. School just got out, though, so I'm celebrating with photography galore (hopefully). About to head out to Sweet Tomatoes with mom, and the mall, so maybe my fashion will kick up even higher. I need accessories. Summer 2012 <3

TO KEEP THE INTEREST

CAMARO

Today felt terribly long even though it was a shortened school day for me. Mom was given this Camaro to rent because her car has a long repair in the shop - this car is totally free except gas. She was ecstatic. I, also, am ecstatic because Thursday I'm getting an iPhone! Instagram here I come :)

ON FIRE

The red shorts sort of matched the mood with the new hair. It's a pretty bright red, though in these pictures it may be a little harder to tell. The tips are very vibrant, however. I kind of love it :)

EASTER FLOWERS

I'm obsessed with the PC knockoff of Instagram; it's called Pixlr. These flowers were an Easter gift from Jake. He brought them at 10:30. Keeper? I think so. Happy Easter everyone!

OMBRE

Come two days before my prom, which is in approximately 2 weeks, I will have ombre hair. Except I plan to do a graduation of reds: auburn-brown to bright fire at the tips. I'm not going to a salon, either, but I'm gonna wing it with the DIY. 

RUST

There's nothing better than spicing up an outfit with a, well, spicy pair of pants. These were around $20 and fit extremely well - a bit high-waisted, but regardless, a good purchase. And also quite a dare for me, as colorful pants were out of my market until very recently.

CHALLENGE

The focal point of my ensemble was the top. Mom and I recently saw a blouse from Urban Outfitters priced at $60 that looked pretty much exactly like this one. We accepted the challenge rather gracefully, and I'd say it came out beautifully. Next DIY? I'm not sure yet.

CHA-CHING

Something about these coin-style necklaces. They'd look really cool beneath the collar of a simple button-up.

MEXICAN RESTAURANTS

There's nothing like an enjoyable outing with friends to pick your day up significantly. My Spanish class went to a local Mexican restaurant for lunch, and let me say, chicken enchiladas are delish. What else is delish? Oreos, which I am munching on now as I type.

TEXTURE

Browsing ELLE and waiting for my boyfriend Jake to pick me up to see an airshow. I seem to be into mixing textures lately - leather and knit, especially. I sort of want a pair of leather pants, but I'm not sure how/if I'd actually wear them. Time to take a fashion dare, methinks!
